Or just like the smites you put on shadow of fear and then once they've used their smite hex you put on ss

since when do u need a cover-hex for a griffin?

I'm guessing hes going on the griffs outside camp rankor because i've never solod those i know they have spell breaker and smite hex is a possibility...i dont think soloing dessert griffons is possible any more with the Queen update but i may be wrong and people may have found ways through or around that
I havent done dessert in so long i got tired of nothing being worth anything for me....i solo through factions and UW now and occasionally i go out to the trolls

could be, there are however other areas in the dessert to farm griffs but i haven't found the drops to be worth anything of value...

I'm not sure if the Blessed Griffs outside rankor have smite hex, it is definetly a possibility, when I used to farm them I used my 55 monk so smite hex was of no concern, i'll test it out with my necro... Also.. Griffs arn't the only thing to solo on that run, I used to farm the griffs, then trolls.... then further up u can take out the giants also, bring some keys and I used to make out pretty nice on that run...

Sure thing they do have smite hex...but for most of the less creative people the area was nerfed with the insert of stone summit heretics.

Plus dark pact woon't be necessary anymore, b/c wallow's bite is a duplicate of touch of agony.

So jean's build should be alot more efficient now...

Very early in the thread you said yours was better b/c the energy was more abundant.

In the screenshot, there is 3 pips of energy. and if energy is not enough you could always change one of the skills with essence.
after all you only need minmum of 3 skills to do dmg which shes has 5 or 4 ( I don't know what elite that is ).

Also imo with this build you could tank helluva lot more monsters with this build. (With hb up of course)

The elite is Aura of the Lich.
The build may seem efficient but i can assure you that the SS build is a lot easier and faster. Dark aura is AoE...they all run from you.

Yes, even with the AoE though it works pretty good, to solo jade brotherhood people i use a dark aura build because they have too many interrupts to use the SS build. Only the problem is with this DA build there isn't enough damage to get past the ritualist's heals. So i use cultist's fervor...dark aura...and dark pact this way i trigger dark aura twice dealing about 70 AoE damage and 40 to my target.

Is it me or do they need to look at Mark of Pain and change the skill description to waste one skill slot on something that takes 10 energy to cast and does nothing .... I tested it over and over again with an ax wand staff I don't know maybe its just me....HAHA I forgot to switch out of my 55 armor in ab and found myself spamming bitterchill with much joy on everything that didnt backfire me HAHA so i dropped the 10 out of Prot and dumped it into death and tried to 120 mm found myself with 10 minions at full health and TRYING to sac myself to death for a laugh with veratas sac and BoM i even brought awaken the blood just to be stupid and finally did it from 120 with mending on hahah thank you again for the enlightenment when ever someone asks me about it I roar KPC and Undead Preacher FTW oWNz

Someone said something about tripping the Dying Nightmares before the Aatxes right? ahahaha u got a ranger in your group with spirits add signet of agony and plauge sending haha funny make sure not to put any points in curses just to be like tyvm for the attribute.

Im not sure this is any as Anet stated they put em all there because of the mass farming of griffons and what not I would think they would be sure to cover it all but people always find ways around Anet.
Well it might not have been their real reason but the update announcement said that Kephet came because of the mass killing in the dessert or something like that....

There are griffons in plenty of spots in the desert...I can think of 3 areas with them. Outside augory rock ( hydra area), south of destiny's gorge, outside dunes of despair.

Anyways guys I have perfected the UW build. The ability to tank as many smites as you want .

Yes these were all fought at once solo with my n/mo. I am now clearing a Smite run solo in under 15 mins ( good spawn) and like 18 mins tops on a bad run .

Alright, the UW run is easy now, after about 3 tries I have it down but there's still one problem. Sometimes, dual nightmares spawn and thier rends dont line up right. What do you do then? I thought about wanding one then recasting prot at the rend for the other. Is that what you do? Any pointers?
